Having recently gone through a name change and revamp, the Stoneburner Gaming community has been playing minecraft in various forms for over 5 years.

Our Survival Multiplayer server focuses on a heavily community driven experience. You can quite easily have an enjoyable vanilla experience, but we also have some custom built dungeons and quests we hope to implement in the future. The server plugins are focused on enriching a survival experience, rather than implementing a different gamemode or altered playstyle. The majority of our custom features are built using command blocks, rather than relying on plugins.

Our server has a strict set of rules, but they are in place to protect you, the player, and should in no way affect your ability to have fun. Our team of staff members have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and are always friendly and willing to help new players. Just a sidenote, we are not looking for new staff members at this time. Should you be the type of person looking to fulfill a mentor role, we will not shun you, but we ask you play on the server and participate within the community before asking for a staff position.

In terms of ranks, we have two player ranks, two staff ranks, and one rank which bridges that gap. Our rank heirachy is as follows:

Newbie: This will be your rank when first joining the server. You will have access to every command you need to play as normal.

Member: You will be given this rank once you have created a forum account, own a liveable home and have played on the server for at least two weeks. Players of this rank will have access to our block logging plugin should you encounter any grief or theft, as well as some special perks for you to discover.

Trusted: This rank bridges the gap between player ranks and staff ranks. To obtain this rank, you must have 50 forum posts, played on the server for three months and be recognised by the administrative team as a responsible and trusted member of the community. If you have been punished for rule breaking leading up to or once you have attained this rank, you will have your progress reset. Meaning you will need to behave and vindicate yourself over a three month period. Players of this rank have additional permissions, including the ability to kick rule breakers from the server.

Moderator: Acquired by applying through the applications section of the forums. You must hold the trusted rank to apply for a moderator position. Moderator applications will only be reviewed when we feel we need additional staff members.

Admin: We don't bite... hard...

You'll notice there is no donor rank in the rank hierarchy, and that's something we pride ourselves on. We do not offer any kind of donor benefits or ranks. We are self sufficient, and feel it unnecessary to rely on our players to support the server. If you wish to earn perks, commands or wealth, you must do it through hard work. No cheating your way through with money ;D
